VoiceLM is designed with privacy as a core principle. The app connects to LLM servers on your local network and does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to external servers.
VoiceLM does not collect any personal data. Specifically:
Voice input is processed using Apple's built-in Speech Recognition framework on-device or via Apple's servers depending on your iOS settings. VoiceLM does not store or access your voice recordings. Text-to-speech is handled by iOS built-in engines.
VoiceLM communicates with LLM servers running on your local network (such as LM Studio or Ollama). All communication stays within your network. No conversation data is sent outside your device or local network.
When using Built-in AI mode (Apple Intelligence), all processing is performed on-device by Apple's Foundation Models framework. No data leaves your device in this mode.
